To prepare for the upcoming season, we’ve posted position rankings of our top players at each position going into spring. Today’s unit are the Tight Ends, which features plenty of exciting talent to watch.

Here’s our Top 20:

1 Colston Loveland (Michigan): With the departure of Brock Bowers, the Michigan TE looks set to assume the throne. He had over 600 yards last season, and was a key contributor in Michigan’s National Championship.
2 Luke Lachey (Iowa): The Star TE had his season cut short just a few games into the season. While an elite pass catcher, he is most coveted by NFL Scouts due to his blocking ability.
3 Bryson Nesbit (North Carolina): Nesbit is considered as one of the ‘freaks’ of college football, as the Tight End resembles a large-framed Wide Receiver on the field. He stepped up for UNC last season after they lost a lot of talent to the Draft, and is set to have one last productive year in 2024.
4 Mitchell Evans (Notre Dame): Evans is another TE who had his season cut short due to injury. Before that, he was dominating against top competition on the field, accumulating 134 yards on Top-25 Duke and 75 yards on Ohio State.
5 Brant Kuithe (Utah): Last year, Kuithe missed the entire season. He’s another COVID year holdout, earning All-Pac12 honors 3 times(2019, 2020, 2021). He was off to another hot start in 2022 before an injury cut that year short along with his 2023 campaign. He’s a big piece to return along with Cam Rising as the Utes enter the Big-12.
